BAARISH HO RAHI HAI…

It's a rainy day today! I am sitting in my office having loads and loads of work to do but can’t take my eyes away from watching the beauty of nature Masha Allah from my side window. The falling water droplets make me go mmmmmmm!!!!

Well, “Rain literally is liquid precipitation. On Earth, it is the condensation of atmospheric water vapour into drops heavy enough to fall, often making it to the surface.”… Just leave all this stupid literal meaning…I just know that “I LOVE RAINS” …. I cant forget my younger days when me and my younger sis’ Isha used to wait for the rains just to get wet once…The way we used to rush to our terrace and play in water..ha ha…Missing those moments..(Sigh!!!)And the smell of the soil …Ghosshhh!!!!! It takes me to different world…We used to stand and watch everyone rushing to safe place to save them from getting wet.Small children getting excited and can see them jumping just like us. Have you watched the scene on roads when it starts raining. Some people try to escape by running ,some try to take shelter under other’s roof , some take bag or books magazines on their head and try to escape.. When it stops raining. It’s a different pleasure! . Small water droplets droping from wet leaves one after one creating different sounds.

Rains are also famous in bollywood films. My favourites are :

1. Pyar hua ikrar hua – Shree 420

2. Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si – Chalti ka naam gaadi

3. Lagi aaj sawan ki – Chandani

4. Kaate nahi kaatti din yeh raat – Mr. India

5. Tip tip barasa paani – Mohra

6. Mere khabon mein jo aaye – DDLJ

7. Rhimjhim rhimjhim – 1942 A love story

8. Jo haal dil ka – Sarfarosh

9. Saanso ko saanson se- Hum Tum

10. Barso re megha – Guru

Have quite a nos. of more song which I love to hear…Cant explain when these songs go and it rains.

Hmmm….now let me stop writing and get back to work… :(
